Behind the Author
My writing is often described as supernatural, using a descriptive style implementing mood and tone to create a vivid experience for readers. Music is my creative muse and rely on long walks for inspiration.
Being raised in the Chicago Northwest Suburb of Buffalo Grove, I started working at the age of 9, delivering newspapers. Waking up at 4:30 in the morning each and every day to start rolling newspapers instilled a strong work ethic in my and are some of my favorite childhood memories. My red wagon was filled with papers, walking alone in the early hours - working before going to school. Nothing can take the place of memories, independently riding a red bike to the bank each Saturday, depositing a paycheck and generous tips from neighbors.
A member of the Authors Guild and supporter of The Library of Congress, you can find me playing tennis, kayaking, visiting art galleries and wineries. I can listen to classical piano and violin endlessly, wishing I could go back in time and meet Frédéric Chopin. The environment is very important to me, including clean water availability and clean oceans.
